105 Miles. 4 Days. One Mission: Saving Veteran Lives.
The PAWS 2026 Ruck March for Veteran Mental Health is more than an endurance event, it is a powerful statement of commitment to our nation’s veterans and the invisible battles they continue to fight every day.
Over the course of four consecutive days, participants will complete a 105-mile route, carried out by a dedicated road team that will traverse the full distance on foot while carrying weighted rucks. Each mile represents the physical and mental weight many veterans live with long after their service ends.
This year marks a major milestone for PAWS. In addition to the road team, three new veteran teams will be joining the mission, positioned at set locations along the route. These teams allow more veterans to participate, engage with the community, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder in solidarity—without requiring them to complete the full distance. This structure expands accessibility while strengthening the collective message behind the march: no veteran fights alone.
An estimated 22 veterans die by suicide every single day. This statistic is more than a number—it represents fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends, and teammates whose struggles went unseen or unsupported. The PAWS Ruck March exists to confront this reality head-on.
By pushing physical limits, sharing stories, and building visibility around veteran mental health, the ruck march:
Every step taken during the PAWS 2026 Ruck March is a reminder that veterans are still carrying the mission—and that the community has a responsibility to help carry the load. Whether walking the full 105 miles, supporting a stationed team, or standing roadside in encouragement, each participant plays a role in honoring service, strengthening resilience, and fighting back against veteran suicide.
